Trail 6 - Paty Valley

Paty Valley

1º day: Leaving Lençóis by car, we will arrive in the village of Guiné where we will get the trailhead.  From there, we will start a walk of roughly 3 hours. We will go up Beco Hill, across the Black River Plateau and eventually arrive at a place called “Rampa” where we will witness one of the most beautiful overlooks of the valley. Then we will go to one of the native’s house, where we will find good food and lodging.

2º day: A delicious breakfast, a 6 hours (average) walk (roundtrip) will put us at the top of a waterfall called Cachoeirão which is one of the most published pictures in trekking magazines. From there we will return to the native’s house to recuperate and replenish the energy we spent throughout the day.

3º day: Today is a big day as we will embark on a walk to see one of the most amazing attractions in Paty Valley, Castle Mountain. An average of 2 hours gets us to Castle Mountain, which some people comment as being equally as beautiful as Machu Pichu. Enjoy an amazing panoramic view and then we will continue on to have a swim at Funis Waterfall and afterwards to the native house to prepare for your 4th and final day. Dinner time!

4º day: You’ll traverse Paty Valley and crossover into the Capão Valley. This is the longest day of walking on an average 9 hours to get to the village called Bomba where the car will be waiting to take you back to Lençóis.

Departure Time: 08:30 h.
Return Time: 19:00.
